CASCADE VILLAGE is the third ski base village in Vail and located West of Lionshead and Vail Village. It is centered by the 285 room Grand Hyatt Hotel and offers for sale condominiums, duplexes and single family homes. There is a restaurant located in the hotel and the Cascade lift takes far up the front side to the Lionshead ski trails. Gore Creek runs through the middle of all the Villages slopeside Vail Mountain but Gore Creek is especially pretty with big pools that hold good size rainbow, brown and brook trout. There is a bike path along the creek that takes you into Lionshead and it doubles as a skiway back to the Cascade lift so you can ski in and out of Cascade Village.
